Spencer Lorne Pearsall commenced his practice of law in Leamington in the year 1949 after graduating in law from Osgoode Hall in Toronto. In 1969, Spencer Lorne Pearsall constructed a commercial structure at 22-25 Queens Ave in Leamington and commenced his sole proprietorship practice of law with an emphasis on Real Estate, Estates Adminstration and Commercial Law. He remained at the site until his retirement from the practice of law.

Elvey B. Marshall joined the firm in November of 1977 with an emphasis on Real Estate, Corporate Commercial, Municipal and Estate Administration Law. To accommodate the increased requirements for staffing, an addition was made to the commercial structure in the year 2003.

David G. Seaton, through his professional corporation, became a partner of the law practice in 2010 and continues to conduct his criminal and family law practice. Subsequent to the sale of the practice to David A. Halliwill Professional Corporation in January of 2015, the law practice was expanded into the 24 Queens Ave premises to accommodate the increased staffing. Matthew Caron and Amanda Camlis joined the firm in 2015 and 2016 respectively, and have brought with them a new perspective to the practice of law. The initial practice in 1969 consisted of 3 individuals and has expanded to 12 individuals today, with 7 lawyers and 5 support staff.
